Accessibility

The Indiana Loans web site (’Site’) maintains accessibility as a courtesy to site visitors and as a way of making the general site navigation and usability easier. We are working towards compliance with all Priority (Conformance) levels of the ‘W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines’ and most of our web site pages currently meet the recommended guidelines. Our website has been designed with the following accessibility guidelines in mind:
- Our pages are designed so that they can be viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Text sizes can be increased or decreased in size by using the “View” and “Text Size” menu options in your own internet browser - or by using the Font Resizer Tool (see below)
- Page structure is maintained throughout the site using header and site wide page elements
- Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) templates are used on our Site with relative text sizes on all text with the exception of graphical text
- All important pages have a supporting printable format button to view the page in a more readable format without the menu information
- Images that convey important information will always have alternative text. Where an image is used for a decorative or search engine optimisation purposes, the alternative text may be left blank
- The use of text-based menu navigation is used throughout the Site
- All our pages have been validated as XHTML 1.0 Transitional, which means it conforms to industry standards and should be accessible by all modern browsers.
